Identify, use, maintain, and store tools in everyday use to achieve the objectives of module IASH12 (Basic Grounds Maintenance).

4.

Give reasons for hygiene as to achieve the objectives of most IASH modules.       

5.

Perform outdoor horticultural maintenance and soil-based exercises as to achieve the objectives of modules:

IASH01 Planting By Hand, IASH02 Potting By Hand, IASH03 Propagation By Stem Cutting

IASH04 Seed Sowing, IASH12 Basic Ground Maintenance, IASH16 Container Gardening

IASH20 Plant Production From Seed.

6.

Identify common garden plants as to achieve the objectives of module IASH05 (Plant Identification). 

7.

Produce plants from seed to achieve the objectives of module IASH20 (Plant Production From Seed).

8.

Water, feed, care for, and grow on plants to achieve the objectives of modules IASH02, 03, 04, 16 and 20 (titles as above).

9.

Identify, control, and state damage caused to plants by weeds, pests and diseases to achieve the objectives of module IASHO5 (Plant Identification).

10.

Thin out, transplant, weed and ensure adequate pest and disease control in looking after organic outdoor vegetables to achieve the objectives of module IASH18 (Looking After Outdoor Vegetables – Organic).

11.

Clear and prepare ground, plant and harvest for organic outdoor vegetable crop production to achieve the objectives of module IASH19 (Outdoor Vegetable Crop Production – Organic). 

12.

Participate in a period of planned work experience to achieve the objectives of  modules IASN01 (Planting By Hand) and 02 Potting By Hand).

13.

Operate a Rotary Mower in accordance with IASH07.

14.

Operate a Lawn Mower in accordance with IASH09.
