INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY & COMMUNICATION
DURATION: 40 WEEKS
AIM:
To
develop an appreciation of the impact and implications of new technology for the
private and working lives of the trainees.
OBJECTIVES:
On completion of this module, trainee will be able to:

1. |
State and operate effectively the main components and functions of a computer in order to achieve the objectives in any one of the following modules: IASJ01 (Introduction to Computers), 02 (Keyboarding), 03 (Word Processing), 05 (Database), 06 (Spreadsheet) 07 (Desktop Publishing). |

2. |
State and operate effectively a photocopier in order to achieve the objectives in module IASL04 (Reprographics). |
|
3. |
Using ECDL and IASJ09 (Internet) modules connect to the internet and world wide web, send emails and received emails. |

4. |
Develop competent telephone skills in order to achieve module IASL02 (Telephone Skills). |
