AIM
This module is designed to enable trainees in the
development of the skills, knowledge and technique, in production of Art and
Design through various mediums. The
module will offer the opportunity for personal development through Art and
Design and develop confidence in ones own unique creative ability.
OBJECTIVES:
On completion of this module, trainee will be able to:

Produce a pencil sketch, inspired by a still life, to achieve the
objectives of IAS PO1 (Pencil Sketching). |
| 2. |
Create a tonal painting to
achieve the objectives of IAS PO2 (Tonal Painting). |
| 3. |
Create a mask using mixed media to achieve the objectives of IAS PO3
(Mask Making). |
| 4. |
Plan an illustration, produce a rough visual and finished display, to
achieve the objectives of IAS T18 (Art and Design Presentation). |
| 5. |
Identify various mediums used in the production of Art and Design. |
| 6. |
Identify strengths and weaknesses within ones own work. |
